During the past several years Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu has been researching the best possible methods of delivering our Jiu-Jitsu programs to our young students.

I believe we have developed excellent classes and continue looking for the best ways of continually improving them.

We have concluded that "age-specific" training is the way to go.  What is "age-specific" training?  



Age-specific training means that children are grouped by age and taught material based on their mental and physical development at the time.  The concept is similar to the elementary school system.  We don't put grade 1 kids with grade 5 kids.

There are so many underlying benefits on how martial arts training training increases a child's development, such as physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth.
